Technique: Folded papers.
I’m always quite careful in my collaborations with brands. You’ll rarely see me collaborate on a product I don’t consume.
I try to pay attention to who produces it, under what conditions, with what materials? Is it an ethical product? Organic? And therefore respectful of people and the environment?
For this project, I was contacted by the 9th concept, a group of artists I really like, with whom I’ve worked on several projects. At the time, I was a pretty big beer drinker.
So when they offered me a collaboration with the German beer brand, I didn’t want to refuse. The project was in France, on the brand’s premises. A “natural” product, without plastic packaging.
I chose to depict the brand’s star in the center, a sign of revolution and change in my creative imagination. A huge THANK YOU to all the members of the 9th concept for their invitation and to Heineken for “choosing” me.
