2021
Technique: Painting (roller and spray), painted metal folds (birds).
As part of the “Urban Resonances” festival, a creation on the wall of the Monge Roustan school. Time for discussion and presentations with the children.
The city of Saint-Raphaƫl invited Dire 132 and me for a wall project within a school. With a very special theme: The Resistance! And Jean Moulin!
A message of freedom, anti-fascist, anti-Nazi, for a message of equality and fraternity. For everyone: regardless of religion, beliefs, diet, skin color, origin, gender, sexuality, body hair, clothing style, or social status. (I’m mentioning different groups because I notice, given the great anonymity of the web, that many humans allow themselves to judge, insult, and demolish. Why?)
Being a member of the Resistance during the Second World War meant being against the Vichy regime in power, a collaborationist regime. It meant disobeying.
Yes to civil disobedience.
We are animals equipped with words and techniques. Anything is possible.
